I do not know as of August 12, 2014 whether William A. Mania graduated from Hackensack High School for certain, but the name is very common in Hackensack and he served the city for many years as a police officer.
 
I received my communion walking down the aisle with a JoAnn Mania and in the SSCC Hall photo the man sitting next to my grandfather, I have been told is a Mr. Mania. William A. Mania may be a son of the man in the SSCC photo or some other relative, so we will err on the side of honoring his service.
